The packing has identical upper (2) and lower (3) sections formed by a horizontal split line (5) two shells (12) made of synthetic material. Each shell has cups (21) located in rows side by side for the vertical housing of bottles (7). The shape of the cups conforms to the lower section (11) of a bottle, and each shell has a means for fixing at least one portion of the centre section (10) of a bottle.
