<p>The phosphorescent ophthalmic instrument includes a fixation structure (20) attachable to the patient's eye. At least a portion of the fixation ring (61, 63, 65) being made from a phosphorescent material. This material, visible to the physician after exposure to incident visible light when substantially all room lights are turned off, enables the physician to visualize the location of the fixation ring (61, 63, 65) in a dark operating environment.</p> |
