In addition to the two anchoring members (12), the mechanism contains two suspension devices (20). These are securable to both side walls (4) of the light well (1), shaped for suspension into the anchoring members. Each latter member pref. consists of a trough-shaped body (13) with an outside open recess (18) and a flat front face (15). A free-standing transverse rod (16) passes through the body parallel to the front face. It serves to support the suspension device. From the body protrude anchoring elements for embedding into concrete. The recess may be outwards widened on all sides.
