<PICT:0973424/C3/1> An apparatus for curing rubber seams in sheets of rubberized fabric comprises a worktable R, a support thereover S, an elongated heating element E, and two elongated holding elements L arranged adjacent the longitudinal edges of the heating element, the said holding elements being adapted to hold the sheets firmly to the table during seaming by exerting pressure on the sheets near the seam, means for raising and lowering the elements and for enabling the position of the heating element to be adjusted so that it can be adjusted so that it can be arranged in correspondence with the position of the seam and brought into contact with the sheets at the position of the seam. |
