Hydraulic adaptor for bicycle brake

The adaptor comprises two caps (13,14) which retain sleeves of Bowden cables from an actuator or the brake. They enclose a housing (7) containing a piston (8). There is a hydraulic cylinder with at least one connecting union. The piston, a shaft (9), and the caps are fitted with concentric through bores, corresp. to 1.01 to 1.3 times the dia. of the brake cable. The piston is moved away from the brake side cap (14) via a pressure of a hydraulic liq. applied through the cylinder connecting union. The piston has an abutment face with positively coupled clamping ring located on the brake cable and following the piston abutment face.
