A device including a dispenser (1) for dispensing doses of a liquid held in a container (27), wherein a volume measurement is obtained by means of a cavity (28) with a calibrated capacity of which complete filling is checked by a sensor (29) located at the uppermost point in the cavity (28), connected to a microprocessor (3) and designed to enable operation of the dispenser (1) by means of a component (5) when complete filling is determined, or prevent such operation when complete filling has not been achieved.
