Process for the production of rigid foams containing urethane, urea and biuret groups and the use thereof

The novel feature in the prepn. of closed-cell, rigid foams contg. urethane, urea and biuret gps. and having high adhesion to solid surfaces by reacting a polyisocyanate with a modified castor oil (I) in presence of catalysts, water and opt. a low boiling hydrocarbon blowing agent etc. is that (I) is a castor oil/(amine and/or OH cpd.) reaction prod. of OH no. 200-500, pref. 350-480.
