An intracavitary catheter, in particular for microwave heating of the womb, characterised in that it mainly consists of a tubular body (2) with an elongate extension (3), and at least two separate flexible cables (4, 4', 5, 5') delivering microwave signals, with the free end portions (7, 7', 8, 8') of said cables (4, 4', 5, 5') extending along the outside of said elongate extension (3) and each comprising at least one radiating portion (9), as well as at least one adjusting member (10, 10') for bending said end portions (7, 7', 8, 8') to move them to a radially extended position from a retracted position in which said end portions (7, 7', 8, 8') are substantially held against the outer surface of the elongate extension (3).
