The proposal is for novel cosmetic and/or pharmaceutical preparations with improved dermatological compatibility containing (a) esterification products of vegetable protein hydrolysates with aliphatic alcohols with 1 to 4 carbon atoms and possibly (b) other anionic, non-ionic, cationic and/or amphoteric or dipolar ionic tensides.
