A combined open-end rotor spinning and twist unit producing ply yarn
摘要
A process for ply yarn prodn. concerns at least two neighbouring open-end spinning units (8) on bearings symmetrically placed w.r.t. the axis of the spindle rotor's (7) stationary cylindrical housing (2). It entails supply of dispersed fibre material to the units (8) producing spun yarns which gather together at a central point (13) on the spindle rotor axis line. The resulting ply yarn is wound on a spool. Here low pressure is formed in a low pressure chamber (20) containing the spinning units (8) and causes the dispersed fibre material to be supplied to the units (8) via a hollow axis (6.1) in the spindle rotor (7) and connecting supply channels (6.2; 6.2). A supply appts for the fibre material is connected upstream of the axis (6.1). An appts. to implement the above process is also claimed which includes in addition that the central point is an eyelet (13) for gathering the yarns (a) Here also, in addition, the spindle rotor (7) rests on bearings at least partly within a low pressure space (21) connected to a low pressure source, which space connects with the low pressure chamber (20) so to draw down low pressure in the hollow axis (6.10 and the supply channels (6.2; 6.3).
