This malleable, multi-layered sheet or strip (5, 6, 8, 10) screens radiation, currents and electrical fields, insulating or galvanically isolating electric circuits. It will at the same time attach a constructional part, or esp. pipes and electrical cables, to surfaces. The outer layer or cover (8) is transverse to the long central axis of the sheet (1) and at least a further layer (6) is attached, so that the stretched molecular structure alignment makes an angle with that of the first layer, combining strength in the manner of a "cross-ply". One layer may be completely covered, or alternatively, striped with adhesive (5). A metal layer (7') may be attached by means of fused polythene and connected to a current source by a conductor (17). Materials of construction include, especially copper braid, glass, polyacrylate resin, polyethylene, polyolefins and paraffins, paper and fabrics. Adhesive stripes on the strip have an acrylic content, with less than 1% of solvent.
