Coupling profile for car and trailer

The coupler body (2) has one or more front sides (3) pointing to the body elements (6) to be coupled. Each front side is fitted to at least one holding shank (4,5) for securing a body element. If several shanks are fitted, the outer ones (5) are at a distance (A) to the profile wall directed to the eyelet side. The coupling profile (1) is of a thickness corresp. to that of the body elements. The shank distance may correspond to the thickness of the outer skin (8) of the body elements to be coupled.
