Lost shuttering for connecting annular anchors or pressure chords

The connecting of the top end of a storey wall etc. uses a lost shuttering with U-shaped cross-section with a transverse (7) and two opposite, vertical chambers (8). The shuttering consists of a trough profile of stiffened, heat insulating material with embedded reinforcement. The trough bottom, forming the transverse shank, contains a through aperture (9) of such width that the cast concrete passes through it to contact the wall underside, or that the mortar applied to the wall passes into the shuttering. Pref. the aperture width is one half of the shuttering width.
