<p>Blocking unit for blocking a Fallopian tube. In order to avoid local anaesthetic and difficulty when inserting such a blocking device into the Fallopian tube and, on the other hand, to ensure sufficient anchoring in the Fallopian tube, it is proposed, on the one hand, that the end of the blocking device should be widened and, on the other hand, that it should be such that said widening does not occur until after the insertion into the Fallopian tube. In other words, provision is made for retaining means, in which the widened end is accommodated in the reduced state, which retaining means are rendered inactive after insertion into the Fallopian tube. This can be achieved by, for exemple making these retaining means from a bioabsorbable material or an applicator.</p> |
