<p>A container barrel for powdered salt (22), open at the top (24), rotates around an inclined axis and carries a plurality of scoops (64) attached to its inside wall along its maximum periphery and facing the direction of rotation of the barrel. An inclined channel (68) extends partially within the barrel through its opening, and has an upper end in form of a funnel (70) beneath a high portion of the path of said scoops and a lower end in form of a sprinkling spout (92) over a passage of the pastafilata. As the barrel rotates, salt scooped up by the scoops and dropped into the channel, is sprinkled from the spout. Both the barrel and the channel are heated, and a jet of air is blown into the channel for driving the salt. <IMAGE></p> |
