A covering system for temporarily covering a defective point in a bone, especially a recess in bone tissue, filled with bone construction material like hydroxyl apatite granulate. This system comprises a perforated stiffener substantially rigidly covering the defective point of relatively stiff but flexible material, like a supporting grid of metal or the like, and a single or multi-layer covering membrane supported by the stiffener. At least one of the layers of the covering membrane is applied as a solution film to the stiffener in its specific shape for the purpose, and process for producing such a cover.
