<p>PURPOSE:To secure high waterproofness for a long period of time by supporting a rod supporter on a tilter casing free of longitudinal motion, while inserting an adjusting rod being connected to a tilting member into its center hole, and sealing an interval between the rod supporter and the casing with a waterproofing member. CONSTITUTION:In a lamp housing 7 clamped to a car body, there is provided with a tilting device 21 which performs aiming adjustment and leveling adjustment of a headlight unit 2, and a rod supporter 46 is supported on the casing 22 free of movement in the longitudinal direction. An adjusting rod 50 is inserted into a support hole 58 of this rod supporter 46 free of rotation alone, and the front end is pivotally supported on the unit 2, while the rear end is connected to an aiming rotational means 99. The rod supporter 46 is moved in the axial direction by rotating a worm wheel 78 by drive of a motor 64 via gear trains 68, 74, 70 or the like. Then, both ends of waterproofing members 61, 62 bent in bellows element form are engaged with an interval between a projecting part of the rod supporter 46 and the casing 22, making them perform their sealing water.</p> |
