<p>Effervescent and soluble granulates containing an active principle are prepared according to a process of the type in which a mixture containing acid compounds and basic compounds are granulated in an air fluid bed, comprising the steps of : feeding to the fluid bed an air flow having total moisture content within the range from 0 to 1.0 g/mc; enbulizing water or an aqueous solution on the mixture, to effect granulation, evaporating the nebulized water from the forming granules before an uncontrolled reaction of effervescence occurs, but after actual granulation; continuing atomization and spraying of the water until required granulate size is reached, and essiccating the granulate to a moisture content of 0 to 1.0% by weight. <IMAGE></p> |
