Chamfer cutting machine for pipes

The chamfer cutting machine consists of two shanks (2,3) on a carrier (1) made of plastics, mounted on a metal holder (17). A cartridge (32) with a counter support (22) is used to carry the pipe for cutting of the chamfer and is adjustable in a groove (20). The carriers are movable in a groove (20) to enable adjusting of the cutting machine for different pipe diameters. The chamfer blades (26) are held on a support piece (35) under the chamfer angle and are replaceable. To apply the chamfer the pipe is fixed at one end and the cutting machine is put on the pipe with the cartridge at the other end. The carriers and/or the counter support are adjusted to the pipe diameter. The chamfer blades rest on the end edge of the pipe. A handle (24) is used to rotate the complete cutting machine while the blades apply the chamfer to the pipe end.
