<p>A shield tunnelling device has a shield (1), an end wall (5) inside the shield area, a boring head (6) with chambers (8) for receiving the cuttings, and two intermediate tanks (11, 12), provided with closable inlet and outlet openings (17, 13), for the cuttings coming from the chambers (8) before they are conveyed further. The inlet openings (17) of the intermediate tanks (11, 12) are here arranged in the area of movement of outlets (8a) of the chambers (8) for the cuttings in such a way that the intermediate tanks (11, 12) can be directly loaded with cuttings from the chambers (8). <IMAGE></p> |
