<p>The framework for a piece of workshop furniture such as an electrical switch board cabinet consists of vertical and horizontal beams (1,2,3). The beams are of U shaped cross-section and their webs are perforated with repeated patterns of rectangular and circular holes (43,44,46). The beams are held together in any selected orthogonal formation by identical brackets (10,11) which are located within the webs of the beams. Each bracket has hooks (104) and protrusions (110) which engage with the web perforations and also smooth and threaded holes which enable them to be locked together by screws (20).</p> |
