The invention relates to granular components comprising enzyme and polymeric binding material selected from the group consisting of: polyamine N-oxide; copolymers of N-vinylpyrrolidone and N-vinylimidazole; polyvinyloxazolidone; polyvinylimidazole; polyaspartic acid and its salts; polymers and co-polymers of maleic and acrylic acid and their salts; and mixtures thereof. A process for the preparation of such granular compounds is also described.
