The present invention concerns a device for releasing propellant from foamed materials, especially PUR foam, having a matrix of cylindrical drillings widened on the side facing the inlet side and roller-like pressure members, in which there is a defined pressure ratio, i.e. the ratio of the drilling diameter in the cylindrical part to the matrix thickness. The invention also relates to a process using the device.
