PURPOSE:To provide a power system controller for operating a power system optimally by handling the control operation of a plurality of power systems totally thereby optimizing the power systems for multiple purposes. CONSTITUTION:Status amounts of a power system 12 are inputted through a system status amount collecting means 1 and a system status amount calculating means 3 and the sensitivity of objective expression of each control operation for each machine is determined by a sensitivity calculating means 6. An operating amount determining means 7 decides whether there is an operation for improving all objective expressions based on the sensitivity thus determined. If there is no such operation, the current state represents an optimal solution. If there is such operation, the means 7 determines a final operating amount while considering whether the operational regulations are violated or not by that operation and whether the operation is practical or not. Consequently, a system state where the objective expressions are optimized simultaneously when a plurality of control operations are independent from each other can be realized. |
