PURPOSE:To obtain a catalyst layer for an air-zinc battery having excellent mechanical strength and excellent discharging characteristics by sufficiently promoting the fibrous formation of PTFE resin so as to improve connecting force between catalyst layer forming grains by the fine fibers of PTFE resin and excellently holding the three-phase interfaces among gas-liquid-solid. CONSTITUTION:After kneading carbon group powder, and each powder of inorganic metal oxide and polytetrafluoroethylen, they are dried and crushed at 300-1200mum of grain degree. Then, liquid lubricant is added to this crashed material, and kneaded. This kneaded material is then stored at 30-50 deg.C for 3-20 hours. The kneaded material after the storage is rolled by a roller, of which surface temperature is 30-60 deg.C. |
