PURPOSE:To effectively reduce noises of a tire in the long steady traveling having an actual traveling distance by arranging a plurality of repetitive zigzag patterns having projections and recesses directed widthwise and staggered alternately peripherally of the tire on the wall surfaces of longitudinal grooves and increasing the number of pitches of the zigzags greater than a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A tire comprises four longitudinal grooves 2 for example, i.e., first longitudinal groove 1a between a shoulder rib 3a and an intermediate rib 3b, a second longitudinal groove 1b between the intermediate rib 3b and center rib 3c, a third longitudinal groove 1c between the center rib 3c and intermediate rib 3d and intermediate rib 3d and a fourth longitudinal groove 1d between the intermediate rib 3d and shoulder rib 3e. A plurality of repetitive zigzag patterns having projections and recesses directed widthwise and staggered alternatively peripherally of the tire are arranged on the wall surface of the respective longitudinal groove 1a-1d. A pitch is made of a distance between the mountains 6, 6 or valleys 7, 7 of the zigzag. At least 200 of the number of pitches are provided. |
