PURPOSE:To provide a voice processor capable of increasing the process speed. CONSTITUTION:A voice waveform P' is generated from a retrieval result of a code word PLAMBDA in an adaptive code book. This device is constituted so that a drive signal source P<1> is generated by passing the voice waveform P' through an inverse synthesis filter 4, and a noise code book 5 is retrieved by direct comparison with the code word P<1>LAMBDA of the noise code book 5 by using the drive signal source P<1>. |
