PURPOSE:To reduce the manhour and time in the manufacture of an air bag having a strap for regulating the development shape, obviate the necessity of the cloth for strap and reduce the weight of the air bag and the package volume. CONSTITUTION:A driver side cloth 2 and an inflator side cloth 1 are partially attached by the thermally molten adhesive resin 5 which is molten by the prescribed heat of the inflator gas, and expansion is proceeded in a stepwise form from a nonattached part to an attached part by utilizing the heat of the inflator gas when the air bag is developed.
