PURPOSE:To enhance the attention arousing effect by displaying the registration pattern on a display, only in the case where the truly dangerous state is estimated. CONSTITUTION:An obstacle sensor 4 catches an obstacle which exists on the periphery of a vehicle, and outputs the measurement signal (a) corresponding to the separation distance L up to the obstacle. When the measurement signal (a) which exceeds the previously set dangerous distance value H is outputted, a danger signal judging means 5 outputs a danger signal (b). When the danger signal (b) is outputted, and an operation signal (c) is outputted through a connecting means 11, accompanied with the operation (e.g. brake pedal operation) of an operating means 7 for the vehicle, a driving signal (d) is outputted from a driving means 10. Accordingly, the registration pattern (e.g. 'STOP') corresponding to the operation is displayed on a display 1. When the danger signal (b) is not outputted, the registration pattern is not displayed even if operation is carried out. Since the registration pattern is displayed only in the case where the truly dangerous state is estimated, the attention arousing effect can be enhanced. |
