PURPOSE:To provide the multi-direction multiplex communication system for accelerating periodic polling as the entire system by cyclically executing polling from a base station to a terminal station, which is just under battery saving, in synchronism with a battery saving period. CONSTITUTION:BS period data generated by a BS period setting circuit 11 generate a BS signal being the ON/OFF control signal of a power source for the equipment of the terminal station at a BS signal generating circuit 12. This BS signal generates a control signal for designating the several station numbers of the terminal station requested by maintenance information within the time, while the power source for the equipment of each terminal station is turned on, at a maintenance information request signal control circuit 14 and outputs this control signal to a maintenance information request signal transmitting circuit 13. The maintenance information request signal transmitting circuit 13 sets these station numbers based on the control signal from the maintenance information request signal control circuit 14. |
