PURPOSE:To make.one branch cover conformable to various dinfensions, and simplify the work from under by suspending a branch box having an opened lower surface from the lower part of a main piping cover, and mounting a branch cover expansible and contractible in the extending direction of a branch line. CONSTITUTION:A branch device 50 is formed of a branch box 51 suspended by a frame 31 and a branch cover 70 mounted on its side surface. When such a branch device 50 is used, suspending plates 53, 54 are suspended from and engaged with the vertical frame 32 of a frame 31 situated under a piping cover, and a side plate 55 is fixed to the suspending plates 53, 54 to constitute the branch box 51. The branch cover 70 is mounted on the side plate side surface of the branch box 51, and a nut is fastened to fix a fixed cover 71 to a movable cover 71 after the movable cover 72 is moved to regulate the dimension of the branch cover 70, whereby the branching of the piping cover is finished. Thus, workability is improved, and preparation of plural kinds of branch covers is dispensed with. |
