The gas burner is designed to heat the contents within a non-metallic bowl such as a disposable styrofoam bowl by submerging the heating head of the burner into the bowl and igniting the burner. It comprises an adapter(20) having a hole(21) and a fuel supply passageway(22) connected to a fuel gas vessel; the burner head(10) including a nozzle member(30) with a multiple of jet holes(31) and the other fuel supply passageway(32); a water-proof cap(40) covering the nozzle member(30); a fastening ring(60), fixed between the adapter(20) and the nozzle member(30), having a multiple of support rods(61) and air flow passageways(62).
