<p>PURPOSE:To provide a nonlinear resistor manufacturing method by which a fine and uniform sintered body having an excellent mold release characteristic can be manufactured with a simple constitution and a nonlinear resistor which is improved in energy resistance and can reduce the size of elements can be manufactured. CONSTITUTION:In a nonlinear resistor manufacturing method in which a nonlinear resistor is manufactured by molding and baking the powder of zinc oxide after mixing one or more kinds of additives which manifest nonlinearity with the powder, the molded body is baked with a heating device which also acts as a pressurizing mechanism while the molded body is buried in inorganic powder or the molded body is baked while the body is pressurized, with the pressurization being started from a temperature which falls within a range from a binder removing temperature to the baking temperature, by using the heating device which also acts as a pressurizing mechanism after a binder is removed from the molded body.</p> |
