PURPOSE:To decrease a data transfer quantity when the parallel computer calculates the product of a matrix using list vectors and vectors. CONSTITUTION:This parallel computer consists of plural processor elements each consisting of a transfer controller 20, an arithmetic processor 22, and a data memory 24, and a complete cross-bar network which interchanges data among those processors by using a buffer memory; and the transfer controller 20 is equipped with a control part 28 which transmits data to the network and receives data from the network and a register 30 which indicates the necessity of whether or not data on the buffer memories that are received by the transfer controller 20 and correspond to the (n) buffer memories on the network, one to one, and the control part 28 receives or makes data on the buffer memories ineffective by referring to the contents of the registers 30. |
