<p>PURPOSE:To suppress flexure of a glass substrate by arranging all TFT circuits under a state where the long sides of each TFT circuit are set in parallel with the long sides of the glass substrate. CONSTITUTION:Six square TFT circuits 2 for LCD are formed in two rows and three stages (8.5 inch or more in size) at predetermined positions on a square glass substrate 1. The orientation of the TFT circuit 2 for LCD is set such that the long sides of all TFT circuits 2 are in parallel with the long sides of the glass substrate 1, i.e., the long sides of the TFT circuit 2 face the long sides of the glass substrate 1. The interval between the long sides of the glass substrate 1 and the TFT circuit 2 and the interval between the short sides of the glass substrate 1 and the TFT circuit 2 are set at 40mm or less. When the orientation of the glass substrate 1 is set such that the long sides of the glass substrate 1 are in parallel with the carrying direction, flexure of the glass substrate 1 can be suppressed significantly.</p> |
