PURPOSE:To provide a fishing simulator which enables a person having a difficulty in actually enjoying fishing to experience fishing indoors and enables a healthy person to enjoy fishing as a training device for fishing or as a game. CONSTITUTION:This fishing simulator has a mechanism 6 for taking and delivering a fishing line 9 extended from a reel and a fishing rod 3, a mechanism 5 for measuring the tension of this fishing line 9, a lateral swinging mechanism 7 for the fishing line, a mechanism 8 for deciding striking of a fish, a video tape recorder recorded with a state of fishing, a monitor television or video disk player and a monitor television 4, and a control panel 1 as a control mechanism for controlling the driving states of the respective mechanisms in accordance with the signal inputted from an operation panel 2. The operator M is made to have a simulated experience of fishing by mingling of the bodily feel transmitted to the hand of the operator M holding the fishing rod 3 and the visual sensation projected on a television screen. |
