PURPOSE:To form a heat-recorded image having high sensitivity and excellent in gradation by constituting a heat sensitive recording layer by applying and drying a coating liq. for the recording layer contg. a reducing agent in an emulsified and dispersed state. CONSTITUTION:This heat sensitive recording material has a heat sensitive recording layer contg. at least an org. silver salt, a reducing agent, a water-soluble binder and at least phthalazinones as a development accelerator on the substrate and the recording layer is formed by applying and drying a coating liq. for the recording layer contg. at least the reducing agent in an emulsified and dispersed state. It is preferable that the recording layer further contains at least one kind of compd. selected from among benzoxazinediones and/or quinazolinediones as a development accelerator. A hardening agent for hardening the water-soluble binder is preferably contained in the coating liq. and thiosulfonates are preferably incorporated as an anti-fogging agent. |
