摘要

The apparatus is for compensating the luminance of a video signal so that the level of the luminance signal is within a specified boundary. The apparatus includes a latch(13) for detecting a pedestal level of a digital video signal, a comparator(15) for comparing the pedestal level with a reference level, an integrator(16) for integrating output signals of the comparator(15) and an adder(ADD) for adding output signals of the integrator and analog video signal.
