An arrangement for gripping the strength member of an optical fibre cable comprises: (a) a hollow body, and (b) a longitudinally divided gripping member arranged to be received within the hollow body. The gripping member being movable relative to the hollow member to urge the gripping member into gripping engagement with the strength member when, in use, the strength member is positioned within the longitudinal division of the gripping member. |
