The connection comprises a first frame (1) fastened to the suspension unit cross member (2) and second frame (5) bolted to the bodywork (7). A first elastic system (10) interposed between the frames connects the first frame to a sleeve (11) which slides relative to the second frame. The first elastic system has a very strong stiffness in directions perpendicular to the sliding direction and is constituted from a mass of elastic material. Between the frames is a second elastic system with very low stiffness in the sleeve sliding direction. The first frame is annular and coaxial with the sliding sleeve and the elastic mass. The second elastic system is constituted from an annular membrane (8) of elastic material, coaxial with the sliding sleeve. One of the ends of the annular membrane is housed by force in an annular fluting (3) in the first frame. The elastic mass has a heel stop (12) which is compressed between a bottom of the first frame and a plate (14) fixed to the second frame. |
