Side parking fitment for bicycle or motorcycle

The side parking fitment comprises a side stand (1), positioned under or in place of the foot plate (1.1). A wider automatically folding footplate is fitted. When the side stand is folded out to support the vehicle, this plate lies automatically on the ground under the side stand. When the weight is taken off the side stand, the plate automatically folds back into its initial position. The mechanism by which this is achieved consists of a mounting for the plate on two axes (2.2), the upper side of which is built out to take parking legs of different sizes. There is a U-piece by which this plate is connected.
