A luggage case (30) has a shape similar to a flight bag when in the closed position and presents a garment bag when in the open position. It comprises a flexible panel (51) which is connected to, and extends laterally from, a support structure (56) to expose the interior of both the panel and the support structure. A selective attachment device (50) connects the panel (51) to the support structure (56) to close the luggage case (30). A support piece (84) is connected to the interior of the panel (51) to hold packed articles (58). A packing pouch (54) is connected to the support structure (56) to extend from the interior of the case (30) opposite of the panel (51) when the case is opened. The pouch (54) folds into the case (30) and overlaps articles (58) when the case is closed. The case (30) includes wheels (44) and a guide handle (46). An auxiliary luggage case attachment mechanism (98) permits an auxiliary luggage case (100) to be carried concurrently.
