Beam free injection moulding machine

The beam-free mould closing mechanism, in an injection moulding machine, has the fixed adaptor plate (2) and the end plate (4) at the legs of the machine frame (1) on at least two horizontal mounting axes (9-12) at right angles to the injection axis (7), over and below the injection axis (7). The end plate (4) and the fixed adaptor plate (2), with the lower mounting axes (10,12) are linked by at least two units (13) with elastic distortion, so that the mould closing and holding forces which tend to expand the C-shaped profile of the machine frame (1) are partially contained by a defined elastic distortion of the unit (13), so that the mounting surfaces (2.1,3.1) of the adaptor plates (2,3) maintain their vertical lie without an angular deviation.
