POLYMERS BLENDS, FILMS AND ARTICLES THEREOF

Polymer blends, films and articles having improved hot tack strength properties. The polymer blend comprises a polymer having a narrow molecular weight and composition distribution and a high pressure ethylene homopolymer or copolymer. The articles and films have significantly improved physical characteristics and remarkably high hot tack and low heat seal initiation temperatures and therefore provide improved processibility at higher line speeds on commercial heat sealing equipment.
