The suspension system is such that the pneumatic springs of the curve outer side are at times charged with a higher pressure, depending upon speed and curve radius, so that the necessary elevated positioning from which the forced internal tilting results is put into action.The air pressure system supplying the pneumatic springs is divided so that each side functions separately and the left or right-hand springs are controlled via corresponding valves. The pneumatic control can be carried out manually or automatically depending upon the steerage, size of the curve and speed.
