<p>A food material transfer sheet according to the present invention has: (i) a substrate extending continuously in one direction and having water resisting property and a thermal resistance, (ii) a layer of a granular, powdered and/or chip type food material to be transferred which is provided with binding margins formed in repetition at predetermined intervals in the direction in which the substrate continuously extends, and (iii) a sizing agent layer provided between the substrate and food material layer and consisting of an edible, water-soluble polymeric material. A casing using this food material transfer sheet can be stored easily, and it can be bound mechanically by using clips in the same manner as an ordinary casing, so that the manufacturing of food, such as ham can be done very easily.</p> |
