Plant watering device (2) comprises two components (A & B). Component (A) comprises an inverted ring shaped bowl (4) with a hole (8) in its upper surface which serves as a filling port. A bung (10) is adapted to fit into and seal the filling port (8). A small delivery port (12) is provided in the bottom of pot chamber (6). Component (B) is a sealing disc (14). The outer rim of the sealing disc (14) is adapted to form a watertight seal with the base of bowl (4) whilst allowing rotation of the two components (A & B) relative to each other. An inner circular upstand (16) is provided in the centre of sealing disc (14) and has a delivery port (18) which corresponds in size and shape to the delivery port (12). In use, the delivery ports (12, 18) are aligned, which allows water to flow out from the water reservoir (20). As the reservoir (20) is a sealed chamber, water can no longer leave it. Hence, the water level in the plant chamber (6) is maintained within close limits about the height of the delivery ports (12, 18).
