The receiving holder for flat objects such as cards is in the form of a flat hollow square with an apertures in one of the lesser longitudinal sides. It has a stressed elastic element (10) connected to one large wall surface (3,4), exerting a force in the direction of the opposite wall surface. The elastic element may be fitted within one of the large walls, it may be made of the same workpiece as the wall surface. The holder has an aperture between the edge (6) of the wall surface (4), the edge (7) of the wall surface (1), the edge (8) of the wall surface (3) and the edge (9) of the wall surface (2).
