Soil liq. sampling assembly of self-sealing modules joined by standard sleeve fittings

An assembly (1) collects liq. samples (2) in a funnel (3) for subsequent analysis from soil. The novelty is that the assembly consists of a series of pre-fabricated plug-in and self-sealing modules linked by standardised removable sleeve fittings. The modules function in both the horizontal and vertical modes. The number of modules and adapters is always more than one, and the pipes linking modules and adapters may constitute a liq. collection network in both the vertical and horizontal planes. The modules and adapters may be made of plastic, ceramics, minerals, metals, recycled materials, or a combination. The linking pipe assemblies (5) may be flexible.
