Pseudo bis-peptides of formula (I) in all stereoisomeric and enantiomeric forms, and their mixts. salts, solvates and bioprecursors are new. In (I), A1 and A2 = -NH-C(R1)(CH2R'1)-CO- or -NH-C(R1)(CH2R'1)-CH2- ; R1 = H or methyl; R'1 = aryl, such as a 3'-indole, 2'- or 3'-naphthyl, or a quinoline, B1 and B2 = -NH-CHR2-CO-, -NH-CHR2-CH2- or -NH-CHR2-CH2-CO-- ; R2 = 1-6C alkyl, opt. substd. by methoxy or methylthio; C1 and C2 = -NH-CHR3-CO- or -NH-CHR3-CH2-; R3 = -CH2-COOH or -CH2CH2 COOH or 1-6C alkyl chain substd. by tetrazole; D1 and D2 = -NH-CH(CH2R4)-CONH2 or -Y-CH2CH2-R4 ; R4 = aryl, such as phenyl or 1-or 2-naphthyl, or 3-8C cycloalkyl; aryl gps. being opt. substd. by one or more halogens, methyl, methoxy, methylthio or CF3; Y = -CH2-, -O- or -NH-; the gps.
